pomade around the edges only; it does tend to smear a little (especially when it's hot outside); i cleaned up the middle of the lens with rubbing alcohol before i used it today though

yes that's what i'm afraid of ,the cleaning after the use .
but the effect is great !
you know i talked to an old photograph i know , i'm going to see him next week to learn about the old film camera i told you about . he has some expired films of very high asa to give me also , and some tips about developing the films . i can't wait to try ! :)

but they're so pretty now that they're in bloom... they sort of draw me in and once i'm there they tower over me with their thorns and spikes and i'm caught and i can't get out :fear:

i actually don't clean it inbetween use; i only cleared the middle up today before i used it because we've had a heatwave and the pomade melted and got smeared all over :D
but yeah, if you were planning on maybe adding the pomade for just a few shots, you're in for some good scrubbing after (it sticks to the lens very well! :lmao:)
i'm so excited for you and your "new" camera and i am so, so, so envious of you and your darkroom :hug:
