I wanted to submit something to the Monocolour Madness Contest, and I wanted to do a portrait... but I am just no good around people (in general, and more so at the moment) so one of my neighbor's pugs had to model for me (his name is Brody) (the pug, not my neighbor).
not very original to enter with a dog photo perhaps, but...

technical stuff:
shot with the rebel xt, edited in RAW, levels, curves, crop, and slight edge blur done in PS, converted to b/w in Paintshop pro XI using the time machine filter, sharpened, and a tiny border was added.
to me it looks naked because I usually do way more editing (like way more), but I guess that is the whole point of this contest.

(Pugnus means fist in latin btw... as in a pug's face looks like a clenched fist... apparently )
