this bicolored blackbird was bugging me for a good while; i was probably trying to get a good shot of him for 20 minutes or something; which is a long ass time if you consider the circumstances:
i was in a field next to a creek and there was abolsutely no shade at all and somewhere around 95 hot and smokin' degrees outside :sun:
but i sat there, patiently waiting for him to unhide himself from the bushy part of the branches he was sitting on.
i randomly shot him here and there, and while doing so i saw a flock of geese pass way up in the sky.
i have shot geese formations before, and this doesn't excite me much.
but bored of the blackbird taunting me i aimed the camera at the sky and took one shoot (only one... :roll:), and then went back to the blackbird.
who eventually fully emerged so i could shoot him properly.
but that's not really the point... when i got home i uploaded the RAW files to my computer, and started the editing process on most of the images.
i didn't even look at the geese shot until several days later, when much to my surprise i discovered they weren't geese at all, but a flock of...

pelicans :omg:
which is normal, if you're near the ocean.
which i'm not though...
had i paid attention i may have gotten a better shot of these (for me) rare birds, but alas... this is all i got :shrug:
