i was trying to explain to =SLPdomain my fascination for skulls, but i have no idea why i'm so obsessed with them... and my brother is the same. and now you!
what if... what if it's a scandinavian obsession..??!
my friend in sweden sent me these for christmas, i haven't seen anything like it here (yet... i'm sure it's out there somewhere)
yeah if possible i'll slap a skull on anything! i have a skull shaped reflector on my bike and skull & crossbone valve caps on my bike as well... and there's a skull on my key chain... one of the dogs has a collar with skull & crossbones on it... =SLPdomain is (as we speak!) making me a messenger bag/handbag with... *drum roll* skulls on it
everything needs to be skullified!
... and it's NOT a pirate-thing either... i've been fascinated by this since i was in my teens...

my dad was a HUGE comic book fan, and i googled s clay wilson and instantly recognized his stuff; must've seen it at my dad's house at some point
it said on wikipedia he had a severe brain injury in '08 due to somewhat unknown circumstances...
the only good thing about the popularity of pirates is that you can find some cool skull stuff in places you normally wouldn't:

yes sadly Wilson was either beaten up horribly or run over at night by a car, that was the ast I heard, but it has been awhile.
i used to hang out with him and he is one great crazy guy. But had to cool that as it was getting dangerous. Too much fun is all i can say

I hope he pulls out of all his medical problems.
Sounds terrible. He is a brilliant draftsman, has some of the best ink line work I have ever seen and if you really look into his work, a hilarious often sick sense of humor.
